The　Sogetsu Ikebana Toyama Branch "Yo-no-kai" Assembly was established in April 2016. It holds board meetings and study groups and is actively working on the Sogetsu style of Japanese traditional flower arrangement.
Ms. Ei Kitano, the representative of the "Yo-no-kai", had been instructed for over 45 years as an assistant to Mr. Seishu Okazaki, one of a founding members of the Toyama Prefectural Artistic and Cultural Association. The Assembly holds the "Yo-no-kai" Ikebana Exhibition. Each member is expanding the field of activities such as ikebana guidance to high schools and companies, group exhibition planning, shop displays, etc.
Supported by Japan Foundation , the Assembly visited 5 African countries to instruct Ikebana.
In addition , the Assembly participated in the cultural exchange program in Brazil , Hungary and Monaco under the program of Toyama Prefectural Artistic and Cultural Association.
